October saw the Sunderland disaster when Southampton put 8 goals past them. The points flew high into the teams of those with Southampton players.
How many times a season do you get such a goal fest? And the Southampton defence has a pretty good record too.
Aguero managers also did well when he got four goals.
What next? Is Van Persie looking like scoring regularly again?
Sturridge will be back November 1st according to our information.
Will Bally O'telli (or whatever his name is) come good for Liverpool when Sturridge is around?
When not at the top of the league - like most of us all of the time - you can place yourself in a league within the Tiger Balm Gardens. Find your mini-league (or league in waiting) of 5 or 6 teams and follow your progress in it.
At the moment from 1st to 5th are a distinct group with a 20 point drop to the next sector where Little Ted at 6th leads a group of 8 teams fairly close together. Then El Fandi heads another group including Super Rams. Then Jezza Utd wags the Tiger's tail.
You can have a big day out and pay for drinks all round when you pass from one mini-league to the other. Up and down?
Is this any help?
(If not, you could go and shoot yourself in the foot)
The End
For players in the Tiger Balm Gardens and Allotments. These are private leagues (entry by invitation) in the English Premier Fantasy league game which continues throughout the English football season from August to the following May each year. AND for anyone else who is interested.

I will remember September, and so will Nick .....
The Boucher family are at 7th and 17th but maybe I shouldn't draw attention to their respective order of merit.
Another previous winner, Little Wonders, is in er ......(Where is she? Oh, yes!)
From the same stable, Elojo is below his grandson who tops the second half of the league with Jackula United. (Well maybe not)
And yet another previous Little Winner shows promisingly in 4th just behind the Florence Dynamos who are themselves again in the leading pack..
Meanwhile I am being brave enough to advise our dear tennis friend Ken to get rid of Podolski.
So with fingers crossed - on to next month's progress or decline.

To go without goals?
I have a Times+ subscription coming to an end in 2 weeks time. I got it at half price in June at £10 (correction £13) a month. They sent you vouchers for the period. I gave the vouchers to a local newsagent. I used the service mainly for the newspaper* which I have been 'reading' daily for nearly 10 weeks now.
However, since the Premier League started 12 days ago I have been able to watch all the goals on video on the Times+ website. Any EPL team you like - you can watch their goals. So I have had a good view of all of Chelsea's - and more. This helped me decide to buy Diego Costa for my fantasy league team squad in the second week. I saw how nimble he was in getting to the ball. Right on my own laptop.
Shall I continue with the subscription now that it will cost £20 (Correction £26) per month?

Ahhh! I've just found out on Times+ that Diego Costa is injured. That's it!!!!
I am going to cancel the Times+.

That funny feeling .....
| River Neet in the village of Bude, Cornwall/UK (Photo credit: Wikipedia) |
Today, I worked out what it was, this 'funny feeling'.
Bude is 367 miles from Stamford Bridge: even the closest Premier League ground is 189 miles away at Southampton. That's the nearest that the Chelsea team would come. (Swansea is 214 miles).
I think that is the explanation for my funny feeling. Too far from Stamford Bridge! Ironically, when I am nearer I am not eligible to buy a ticket. You have to have bought one already in order to gain points to buy a ticket. ....!
Only a handful of days to go before the season starts so you should make a start. Register and get to know where the new players are for a start on the start.
Who does Sanchez play for? Luis? Diego Costa? Courtois?
Notice that van Persie is already injured.

Three weeks to go to the KO 2014-15 season
The letter below is for existing members of our league to copy and send to someone they know. Just add the CODE which you can get from your own site once you have re-joined.
Or just write to them yourself with the code.
Please introduce any new members on the TBG FORUM. Just tell us something about them, eg name, of course; where they live, golf handicap, annual income, etc but don't embarrass them!
My letter:
Dear friend,
Why not join us in our league? The kick off is August 16th but the site is open now and you can explore what to do there with plenty of time before the start of the season in three weeks.
Good luck and Best Wishes
When you join, your team will automatically be included in some public leagues (eg your home country) as one among many but if you use the code that will be sent to you soon you can join our group - we are a much smaller private league called
TIGER BALM GARDENS.
Our league has been going for 5 seasons, I think, and is based around a few of us who played tennis together plus family and friends. It does not matter if you don't know everyone in the league. I don't either!
Last season there were 18 of us and the League was won by Richard, a former player of the real game, who lives in Northallerton, UK. His win was decided only in the very last week of the season. It was his first season in our league. See our blog http://tbgfanfoot. blogspot.co.uk/
He was awarded our own home-made certificate.
Why don't you join soon in good time for this season? A few more ladies would be good but if you are not a lady we will understand. And/or you can pass on the code to a friend and let me know the name to look out for.
The only qualifications are that you enjoy football and are at least moderately competitive.
You will soon be receiving a code by e-mail which you can enter at the website in order to join the Tiger Balm Gardens.
If you do not wish to join then that is ok as well. You just won't be in the will.
Good luck and Best Wishes
Win, Draw or Lose
from Vernon
PS There is no fee and only an unlikely chance that among the millions of players worldwide that you will win anything to put in the bank. But you can always challenge someone in the league and back up your word with a flutter. I am not thinking only of eyelashes. Look out for the Code.

Three matches that I missed.
Solomon Islands face New Caledonia today at 5pm local time, before matches with American Samoa on May 29 and host nation Fiji on May 31 at ANZ Stadium in Suva.
And I cannot get a flight to Suva in time for tomorrow's match.
It is already tomorrow there.
