October: the clocks have gone back and so has the league leadership, back to Tom Riordan!

October saw the Sunderland disaster when Southampton put 8 goals past them. The points flew high into the teams of those with Southampton players.

How many times a season do you get such a goal fest? And the Southampton defence has a pretty good record too.

Aguero managers also did well when he got four goals.

What next? Is Van Persie looking like scoring regularly again?

Sturridge will be back November 1st according to our information.

Will Bally O'telli (or whatever his name is) come good for Liverpool when Sturridge is around?

When not at the top of the league - like most of us all of the time - you can place yourself in a league within the Tiger Balm Gardens. Find your mini-league (or league in waiting) of 5 or 6 teams and follow your progress in it.

At the moment from 1st to 5th are a distinct group with a 20 point drop to the next sector where Little Ted at 6th leads a group of 8 teams fairly close together. Then El Fandi heads another group including Super Rams. Then Jezza Utd wags the Tiger's tail.

You can have a big day out and pay for drinks all round when you pass from one mini-league to the other. Up and down?

Is this any help?

(If not, you could go and shoot yourself in the foot)

The End
