Aguero in the fall (October's three matches}

The Aguero league?
Only two teams in the top half of the league do not have Aguero. He certainly looks like a banker for any team. He costs a lot!

At least one manager played a Triple Captain card, taking advantage of a fixture against Sunderland.

Emperor leads with 549,
that's 26 points from Elojo on 523 then 11 less to Forest Gunners.

The top 5 teams with more than 500 points are in line for a total score of 2000+  needed to win the league.

Goals in October
Week 8    total 27        Home 19 Away 8      Clean sheets 8
Week 9            19                   13           6                           9
Week 10          28                   12           16                         7

October was the best month for defenders with 22 clean sheets over the 3 matches.

September with 4 Gameweeks ..... 16 clean sheets
and August (3 gameweeks) ........... 13.

Bright September

August leader Elojo, gives place to Emperor Strikes Back, after the 4 Gameweeks started in September. And Jackula drops from 2nd to 8th.

The last of these (Gameweek 7) saw only 20 goals in all matches, the  lowest of the season so far, and so points were scarce.

But the previous 3 Gameweeks  had 34, 36 and 34 goals totalling 124 for September. (August had 72 in the 3 Gameweeks)

I am not showing the league here this month as I am not able to copy it at a reasonable size of print - don't know why!
Goal totals: 28  Week 1
                    22            2
                    22            3
                    34            4
                    36            5
                    34            6
                    20            7

Keep taking the points.

The end.

Good luck for Gameweek 4

Dear Plotters,

I believe there are 9 teams with Aguero at the last check. I just wanted to say that he will probably still score lots of points over the whole season.

Unless he slips on the wet grass when he returns from his 3 match ban (it is 3, isn't it?).

But there are still loads of matches for him to fall/score in. Or get sent off.

All the best from the Senior Consultant

ps Isn't PL exciting compared to watching England?

pss Un agüero is 'a hole' in Spanish...... Just saying!

psss Still, he is definitely the best forward in the PL!

"For it's a long long time from May to September" (Autumn Weather)

And it is about the same time from April to August ....but here we are with the three August EPL gameweeks done and dusted.....
......and Mike is still in the lead even though he was on holiday when the first two matches went down.

I have pleasure in announcing that same honoured gentleman was presented last week with the Diploma as leading light of the 2015-16 season by my representative in a Chinese cap and jacket.

Results in our 20015-16 leagues

TBGardens

Mike won by 52 points.

Herr Klopp kept us waiting to see which Liverpool players would appear in the last PL match of the season given that they had the Europa Cup Final following in a couple of days.

And we found that Sturridge and Coutinho didn't play in Liverpool's last PL match underlining the fact that the end of season can be chaotic to plan for. But Mike didn't really look like being caught easily.

The Emperor's debut as 2nd in the league means we'll be hearing from him again. I cannot recall if Barbara's Florence has won the league before but as usual most of us were looking up to her. Last year's leader Leah's Legends did well again close up to Barbara (5 points) in 4th. Well placed when it all ended were It's just not Cricket and Jackula. The latter at 2009 was 149 behind his grandfather - which is only 4 points per match!

I expect we all had our crazy moments in dealing with the Chips: I mentioned one of mine involving the Triple Points for the Captain elsewhere. (See previous blog)

And the Allotments. Congratulations to a previous winner of the Gardens league. Richard wins this by a single point from Jack. Leading names from the Gardens are in 3rd and 4th but El Ojo's points in this league leave him surprisingly low at ...10th!! Even the Average is in a funny position.

I won't print the other leagues but Mike won the Patio (classic league for 2nd half of PL season) and consort Toni won Allot of Tiger Balm. (2nd half of season, head to head)
